Default Question regarding the QAD Ultra Rest.....

I know some of you guys on here use this rest. I've got a new bow coming, and I really like my Drop Zone but am interested in mixing things up a little. Who's used the QAD, and what did you think? Good and bad...

And, which would you use and why? Here's the deal, these are the only 2 I'm looking at. Any other ideas will be completely ignored...by me anyway. Thanks.

I have a QAD on my Tribute and love it. I can nock my arrow, cock the rest and don't have to worry about my arrow falling off.

good question....will save me from posing it this summer....

ahhh i lied, i'll probably still post it when im ready to buy lol...but really, thats the rest on my list as of right now...though theres more and more full containment style drop aways, i like the QAD from what i can see...though, i dont know....im going to need help getting over the "possible failure" factor of ANY drop away on a pure hunting bow...want to get rid of the prong rest...but dont want a biscuit....hmmmm

I have a Ripcord, but the QAD might better because it doesn't let down if you draw your bow and let down. The ripcord does, at least last years model.

I like my QAD just fine. I think it's a great hunting rest. Complete containment, doesn't drop away if you let down and does not bounce back up after the shot so there is no chance that the tail of your arrow will come in contact with the rest. I don't know howmany arrows I've shot through this thing, butit has to be in the thousands and I haven't had any problems.
