Default Bad odds for this guy to survive!

Got this picture from another websight. The guy whose camera took the picture thinks a neighbor took this shot.[:@][:@]

He looks healthy, he'll eventually break it off.

Makes ya wonder about the shot attempt. [:'(]

That is almost unbelievable, no offense. Due to the length of that arrow remaining outside the puncture, seems like there would have to be a good 3-4" chunk indulged into the buck.(Also to have that much stability.) That would be much past the skull plate and into the brain or nasal cavaity. Ouch....

Beautiful buck. Sad.

I hate to see stuff like that . it looks like it is more to the side of the head aside of the tongue and forward of the brain. if he can get the arrow out he will survive

That's the kind of things the PETA freaks love to toss around. Hey, stuff happens! I saw a picture on the web of a guy with an arrow sticking out of his head at a 3D tournament.. common sense isn't so common!

Long way from the brain case and wrong angle also. It is either in the sinus or the pharynx. Judging by his condition I wouldn't think it to be in the pharynx. Sinus is just a pocket of air surrounded by bone, he'll be fine is my guess.
