Average shot distance ?

For you Turkey hunters that have been successful , what is your avearge shot distance?

Well i cant help you to much on this one BUT, i tried it with the bow for the first time last season and nailed a Big tom the first time out, exactly 20 yards

2/2 on bowhunting turkeys

1. 32 yard
2. 5 yard

Average: 18.5 yards.

Rounded up, and said average of 20.

I learned that it really is possible to suck them in real close with a correct set up. I've shot 5 turkeys total. (3 shotgun, 2 bow) all shots (except the 32yrd) were 20 and in.

I have shot at six birds: 16, 25, 32, 35, 37, and 43 yards. I missed at 32 and 43 yards. I think I'm going to limit shots to 35 yards from this point forward.

I successfully have taken 2, one at 31 yards and one at 19 yards, I clicked 25 for an average.

killed four but only 3 with my bow.....but have shot at probly 15! lol

i put and average of 25

Thats 24 yards for a three site average.
