Default Candidate for next year!

I put my camera out last Sat. I went and checked it yesterday ( the date is 1 day ahead). The tree with the oval shaped mark is a scent post marker. The deer can't rub that spot with their antlers so they must be biting the bark off or something!!?? In 5 days I've got a 1 1/2 7 point, 3 1/2 8 point, this 10 point, a b buck and a doe. They are all there checking this tree. The good part is, it's 16 yards from my tree stand!! Six feet from where I shot this years buck! He should be real nice next year. I hope he makes it. Enjoy.

How old you figure he is Greg? Definately a good one for next season.

I believe the reason he looks peeved is because someone he don't like has left their scent on "his" tree.

Anyone seen this before?

Makes me wonder if the other buck is close by in that pic.
