Default Lets see pics of your first ever deer!

Gun or Bow season...lets see some pics.

Here is mine, a small 5 point buck taken with a 20 guage shotgun at about 50 yards in 2003. I was 15 when I shot my first deer. Could have had a does the years before but I wanted a buck :-) I will never forget that day, my dad was so proud of me. It was opening day and me and my uncle were on a different chunk of land than my dad (both private about 10 miles away from eachother) and he went over there for the morning. Well, I was sitting in my stand about 8:30 and turn around and look downhill and there was him and his brother standing there. I started shaking like a leaf in a windstorm. I grabbed the shotgun, slowly turned my body around to shoot, lined up the sites and BANG!!!! He jumped and kind oftrotted awayand then started running for it. He landed between me and my uncle and we let him lay for a while. My dad came back at about 9 and had his Motorola radio on and said he was here. I told him I shot at a buck and knew it was down. He was so happy for me and 30 minutes later I was still shaking like a leaf and my heart was still going. Well here are some pictures of the antlers off him, don't have any full body pics off the digital camera.

Wish I could, it was back in Jan. of 1991. A doe, last day of season. I was 14 and I have one pic of it somewhere. Don't know where though.

First deer ever and with a bow. Come to think of it ALL of my deer have been taken with a bow.

That doe was HUGE. I am 6'1 and about 220 lbs in that photo. Every person that saw it said it was the biggest doe that they had ever seen (dead or alive).

That would have been in 1977. We didn't have film back then.
