went out hunting with my buddy after his uneventful opening weekend at deer camp..got out into the woods at 330..walked around for a bit b4 heading back to my property line....hoping to find a few does that may have skirted around us when we were walking around.. my buddy climbed my ladder stand as i walked 30 yards away he was already in shooting position.. i didnt even see the deer due a tree... KAAAAAAAAAAAAA BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM...300 win mag barked.... granted this is a bowhunting forum..but a deer like this is shared with everybody....i looked at him thinking he shot a doe.. he put his hands out wide in the ever so famous.. i got a giant.. which he does with every animal.. squirrels included lol...so i thought he was joking around.. till i saw he nearly fell out of the stand like a human vibrator... i took his gun from him as we walked towards the deer... i still am in the dark.. thinking its a doe till i see its body.. i was ok.. big deer.. naturally i was looking at the ass end of it and didnt see the GIGANTIC rack sticking up.... as we get closer he looks and was like do i see a droptine..omg omg... omg.. it IS A DROPTINE !!! now .. u wanna see a fat kid run fast... put that deer in front of him.. wooooo weee.. nascar of hunting... this kid was attached to that deer like super glue... as we picked the deer up to look at him.. we discovered he had 3.. not 1 but 3 droptines..and to make it even sweeter.. my buddiies all time hunting dream was to harvest a droptine buck... esp. after an incledibly tough archery season.. this was a def highlight of both our hunting careers.

thought u would all enjoy the story..nwpahunter would like to knw wat u think this brute might score.. he will have it scored when he gets it back from the taxidermist.

You got to love a buck that comes with his own Kick Stand. Very nice.

Great buck. I love those drop tines. However, the pics are terrible. A trophy like that deservesbetter than being photographed in a truck bed smoking acigarette.
