Default where is the rut?

i was thinking this morning while hunting about how the rut is going across the nation..... i was wondering if one could track (like the do on the news while tracking santa) the rut as it progressed south(i assume thats the way it goes) just wondering... not happening here in this part of texas by the way

Here in Ohio it was the middle of the 2nd week in November through the 3rd week. They will have one more little rutting period here in the first week of December for about 5 to 7 days and then thats it. After the rut, start hunting thick cover and food. Thats all they (The Deer) will be looking for thru the rest of the year.
