Okay, I just got done looking through the entire broadhead success survey listed above looking for broadhead advice. I was at our local Walmart last night (I know, I am not a big fan of the store either!) and they had their broadheads on clearance. They had the Crimson Cuda (mechanical head) for $11.00 and the NAP Scorpion (mechanical head) for $14.00. While I was looking through the success survey, I noticed that there was only one person using the Crimson broadhead and nobody was using the Scorpion. I was just curious to see if anybody has had any experience with any of these broadheads. I will probably go back sometime this weekend and purchase the Crimson broadheads anyways. I figure that they would at least be sufficient for turkeys. Any thoughts?
I've used the crimson talon xt's. They were pretty decent. Sharp, pretty durable, no real complaints from those. I know those aren't the ones wally world has on sale for you, but the crimson heads seem to be pretty good heads.

It's funny that you say that. Not that I am against muzzy's or thunderheads, but they are some of the cheapest broadheads there are. Let me remind you that these are on clearance and normally, are actually more expensive than the broadheads you mentioned.

RE: I know, I know..another broadhead question
Ive used just about all the mechanicals. The only mechanical I really liked and trusted fully was Nap spitfires. They work, but I prefer a good cut on contact fixed head.

They are cheaper because they are produced in a greater volume. Price has gone way down. They use to be very expensive. They are both tried and true. Ive used both. I started using thunder heads back in the 80s and switched to Muzzy in the late 90s. I like Muzzy the best, and still use muzzy three blades.

I actually shoot NAP spitfires as well. I really like them and have had no problems with them. I also shoot slick tricks, which is another broadhead that I think is great. I guess for some reason though I get intrigued by different broadheads and want to experiment. I just wanted to see if anybody had any bad experiences with either of these. For the price, I think I will pick them up for turkey hunting. Thanks for all of your guy's input..it has helped a lot

Muzzys are like the good ole remington 870. They may not be the most pricey thing out there but are one of the most dependable and proven heads on the market........ Mechanicals??? I wouldnt think of buying anything other than a slip cam mechanical and I can't even brong myself to buy those. WCL
