Wierd, I wonder what they will find in the study. I've heard of mule/whitetail hybrids but that's the first elk/whitetail or mule deer hybrid. Wonder if that's a guess waiting on the study or a simple anomolly.

Terrible picture but it sure looks odd. More elk looking than deer.

I can't imagine a whitetail doe standing for a bull elk. Ouch!

It was probably a big whitetail buck impregnating a small cow elk, I'd guess.

I really doubt that it is real............looks alot like a young Red deer stag, probably escaped from a game farm.
