Default Need a new bow

Hey friends, I will begin bow hunting next season. I have looked at bows from 299.00 to 1200.00. I hunt in south Texas and my longest shot will be less than 40 yards. I am new to this and many of the terms I do not understand. IBO ? Any info would be helpfull. Single cam / double cam.... sights etc. I have hunted with a rifle for a long time. But bow / no.

If you're going to start, you might as well start with the best. Buy a Hoyt and you'll be gald that you did. If you're serious about buying a bow and you're looking to buy one now, there is an archery shop in Alexander City, AL that was having a big sale on 07' bows. I know tha 07' Hoyt's were 50% off. Here's the number - (256)329-0080. It's called "The Sure Shot". Ask for Brandi.

well if you are looking to spend over 600 dollars then I would go with the bowtech allegience. Bowtech are the fastest and most accurate bows on the market. and can boast the only bow with binary cams I recently bought a bowtech tribute and I absolutely love it.
