Default panthers

I was hunting one eveningand saw a panther walk by my stand and i was wondering if it would mess up my deer huntin and if it will is it legal to kill a panther if not how can i get rid of it

I think that its protected status may vary by state.Mountain lions areprotected here in VA, but I know you can hunt them in Idaho.

Not legal here. Matter of fact, Bobcat in it's first legal year in Louisiana.
