If ya don't get the answers you are looking for PM Rob/ PA Bowyer when he gets on, he has been using the Allegiance and loves it and he just got the General.

It's funny hearing that 36" is "huge" these days... Especially in light of the fact that legions of fans from SEVERAL manufacturers have been screaming for new bows developed on that platform specifically.

When my 2008 Allegiance arrives, she'll be the third Ally in a row that I've owned dating back to '06. She's remained a perennial favorite out of the entire lineup year after year... though she's going to have some stiff competition this year as I should get one of the first 82 Airbornes to roll off the line. I'll definitely be doing some serious heads-up competition between the two to see which one will be my primary hunting rig on my next elk trip to Colorado this coming year.

The Ally's short-but-stable 33 1/4" axle-to-axle measurement has made it an extremely good compromise between the rock-solid holding ability of some of the longer bows, but remains highly manueverable in treestand scenarios. This is in large part attributable to its beyone-parallel limb design which offers probably the longest riser possible at that a-to-a listing.

I have a '05 Ally and absolutely love it. Smooth, quiet, fast. It is such a pleasure to shoot. Would love to be able to get a new bow for next season, shot the general and the first words I uttered were holy sh*^!. Even smoother and practically invisible as far as sound goes.
