i dont know where you're from, but in PA we have 'antlered' and 'antlerless' deer instead of 'buck' and 'doe'.

A friend of mine had a deer farm and had a antler doe. She had six points and the velvet would stay on till they fell off. He said his vet bills where high on her because she was alway having problems with her antlers bleeding all the time and was afraid to breed her because he was afraid the bucks would kill her.
