I had problems with the 3 blades interfering with themselves, plus I live in ny. The reason they may be considered illegal is that technically they are "barbed". I heard the ruling will be left up to individual game wardens to deal with. Very subjective if you ask me.

loogout1: we were told at my bow liscence class 2 months ago that they were offically illegal.. my instructor had the email he gotten from some big wig in the DEC office. although i could not find any thing published on the DEC's website.. i was able to return mine to gander for a full refund and they new about the ruling.. not sure how it will play out.. would love to go to the 2 blades.. just as soon as everyone is done being "out of stock"
