Default The long trip to Illinois paid off this year

I got a nice 8 the first afternoon, he came by me chasing a doe and i couldn't stand it so he felt a slick trick. So then i had a whole week to just ride around and scout and found a dandy 10 point and set my bro in law up on him and he came by at 15 yards.

cool that you got them on public land. where at? limited public land in IL unfortunately causes a lot of tension when out of state hunters are forced to lease a lot of ground up in order to hunt here. nice bucks!!

Very nice deer, I would say 150's gross. Congrats on a good hunt. I get the same feeling when I help guys harvest good deer as if I had shot them.
