Man, I feel great about my chance at something! Be it a mulie, javalina, or aoudad. I just feel like I'll connect! Now last week I didn't feel that way at all and shot that little buck so who knows? But my spirits are high and I'm ready for adventure!

This is the first year in quite a while that I won't be hunting this weekend. I've decided to take 4 days to spend with Lisa and my family in PA and enjoy my newly finished cabin and just relax. I will be out again though the following weekend competing against the PA orange army, only with a bow.

Best of luck to everyone this weekend. I'm hoping Scott puts one down this weekend, I know he's been through a lot this season.

Yeah I have the feeling. I'm hunting one of my honey holes this evening. Tomorrow I'm heading to my 50 acre farm in SC that doesn't get hunted by anyone but me, and that's only a few times a year. There's been an 11 point spotted in there by my cousins. Hopefully he'll show up by Sunday.

I had the feeling this morning but instead didn't see anything but rain. I got a feeling about tomorrow too. I had a feeling on Monday night and shot a doe. Gotta trust the feeling.

No. It's been very difficult getting any feelings over the way this season has gone.

About the only thing I can say for certain is that I will eat more food tomorrow than a person should consume in a week.

Hey NC, you don't need to deprive the land from it being hunted so infrequently. Give a brother a call, its only an hour from me.
