If you know the area..stand hunt. If not so familiar and not sure where they will be, than still hunt.

I'm in the same boat with gun season looming. I may just break some new ground and still hunt tonight!

SIT YA %SS IN THE TREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't go rumbling through the woods scaring everything out of there!!!!!!! Naw, Im j/k... I have never stalked, I always just feel like they will see me, hear me, smell me, before I can ever see them. Good luck in whatever you do!!!

I'd sit in the tree I can't walk through the woods without sounding like an elephant.

The opportunity for stalking in a stiff breeze is pretty good out west here. Wind takes care of smell and sound pretty well. Only have to worry about being seen.
