Default First deer of the season

Well me and leroy the decoy left the house today at 5am to sit till 8 or so on a fencerow that we had been catching deer using from food source to bedding area routes. At about 6:30 i heard somthing come out of the woods to my right and sure enough it was the tall 8 pt i had a couple run ins with in the last 2 weeks. I let out 2 short grunts from my buck roar and he ran the 30 to get in leroys face. He circled around leroy and stomped when i let it rip. i dont know what happened with the shot because it felt good and looked good till it hit him in the neck. He only went 100 yards across the corn field then 30 yards into the woods. It was the easiest bloodtrail i have ever seen. Here are a couple pics
