Default pop up blinds

what are your thoughts on "pop" up blinds? I bought one this year and I am just not sure about them. do you think youhave to leave them up for weeks prior and do you think they spook the deer? I have been hunting a farm that doesn't have trees big enough for my stands. Twice deer have looked right at the blind and went back the way they came? I brush it in to the extent I can without making a bunch of noise. What do you think?

If you aren't afraid of it being stolen leave it. The blind will have scent from the manufacturer and where you store it leaving it lets the deer get used to it and lets the scent die off.

Default RE: pop up blinds

me personally i take camo burlap put it up around trees to make a blind. i air out the pop up at home in the yard. then when i go i take down the burlap and put up the pop up. leaving the burlap up makes the obsturction that the pop up does. burlap is cheap and no one would steal it. i tie it up and so taking it down is a matter of cutting it off the tree. whole process of getting set up maybe takes ten minutes. then when i leave i put the burlap back up.
