Default Buckstumps

Got a real nice 8 point the last week of archery season in PA. Was thinking about having this done www.buckstumps.com and putting them on the fireplace mantle ( the walls are already covered with paintings and hubby's deer ). Has anyone had this done before. I prefer something like this over a skull in my livingroom.

I got one done last year, and my wife is getting her buck done fro this year. I really like mine, very unique, everyone comments on it. They do a great job. Quick turnaround too. I would definitely recommend it to you. The bottom of the base is felt too so you can put on something nice.

How long didit take to get the antlers back. I like that. I bet its not too hard to do your self if you can make a mold, the you just have to pour concrete or some other media into it and voila!

I'd probably impale myself if I had that on my coffee table.

If you were going to try this on your own what would you use as a medium and what would you use as the mold? I don't think you would want to useplaster as it would propably chip ect. Any ideas??
