Just wanted to post a few pics for you guys of the buck that Dan shot yesterday morning while I was snoring away at his camp. [8D] This was the last possible hunt of the 9 day stretch we take annually and split between his camp in NY and mine in PA, it was also the last day we have to hunt before the gun season opens.
I honestly don't know anyone that hunts as hard as this guy does.....he was up every morning and in a tree before daylight except one day on our 9 day hunt. He really deserves this one especially after the dramatic scenario that went down the first 3 days of our hunt that you can read about when I finally get my journal entry up. I'll let Dan sign on here and share the details.......just wanted to get the pictures up! He's a nice 2.5 year old 7 point "Rob" buck, and dressed out at 150lbs even.Dan put a perfect pinwheel double lung shot on him......the deer piled up less than 60 yards from where he was shot!
