That is funny! You can buy factory built chain ons for not much more than that. And they are certified and come with harnesses and treestand safety dvd. This is something you would have seen 20 years ago maybe.

Hey I used one like that years ago I made myself out of bedrails and yes it worked but was very dangerous.

You should see the first one I ever had. I made it myself, it was/is a climber. I still have it but don't use it...I have som many but I just can't discard it.
