Who all has telecheck system of reporting your kills? In Mo we started calling in our kills a few years ago instead of taking them to the check in station. I miss seeing the deer at the stations. It use to be a huge social gathering for the hunters to go there and see the deer and you would see some truly weird and sometimes amazing things.
Anyone else miss this aspect of hunting or am I just feeling my age?

I didn't know they had a telecheck system set up like this in any states. Its a bad thing i think, even here in Minnesota they don't even look at your animal when you register it, people can cheat the system really easy! I miss to the good old gatherings at the gas stations checking out the nice deer and hearing the stories.
yea i miss it to. but tjere is other states that have it from what i hear.
and true there are gonna be some people that might try to cheat the system but most of the time those kind of people wouldn't even check their deer in anyway.
I guess the point is it gives the wardens more time to be in the field instead of being called to the stations to deal with issues, getting them set up and trained and picking up records. I have also heard that the department also does spot checks on hunters to check out their reported kills. Also they dont have to pay the stations for their services. Cant help but think it would only make it easier to cheat the system though.
