Default Deer Travel

O.k, for the experts-How long approximately does it take does and yearling to go from a morning bedding area to an evening bedding area?

The area I can hunt has a morning bedding area and then there is a slice of posted/leased land and then the evening bedding area. I want to ambush the group of 7-10 I've seen coming from the evening bedding (but out of range at the time) and going to the morning bedding (I've seen the area where they went from my stand at the time).

This is my first year bow hunting season and only my 2nd year deer hunting so any and all help is appreciated. I just want some venison, so whether it has antlers or not is of no concern.

Ibelieve your question is impossible to answer.

Every area is different...not all deer behave the same...how far are they traveling? You get the idea...
