Default need help

Hey all, looking for some advice.

Arrowed a buck in the front should with little penetration. Found blood after 50 yds and had heavy dark blood for 300 yds. Never bedded, lost blood. Is this a killing shot?

Not too sure, but I don't believe it was more than a few inches. My initial thoughts were that I was not going to find any blood. I was real surprised with the amount I did find and it was very steady. The last area we found blood there was quit a bit, I feel he may have licked himself clean.

Never pulled the arrow out either.

Sounds like you might of hit him in the knuckle of the shoulder. Was it a loud crack when the arrow hit?
