Default You have a choice in front of you....

For the poll's sake....let's assume a 120" deer is a high scoring deer for your area. If you must.....you can insert any (") figure in there to make the poll make sense, to you. But....I think you get the jist of it.

So the question is......You have a choice in front of you.

You can take.....

I would go with the Mature deer. Much more of a trophy IMO. Oh yea, a deer of that age in my area would be very rare so thats why I say it would be a trophy to me.

no contest the older buck.if you have a deer thats only 2.5 years old and already pushing 120" let him go at least another year or two. around here a 4.5 year old isn't gonna grow alot more.

Two years ago I would have said the biggest one. But, now I have to go with the oldest. (given low to average hunting pressure)

the oldest one every single time. I will shoot a 125" mature buck but not a 140" 2.5 year old.

That's my answer, although I know it'd be more PC to choose the older one.

I would have to say the one that gave the best shot and what was felt in the moment. I would like to take the older and let the other one walk, butall the rifle hunters around it wouldn't matter to them and the younger buck wouldn't stand a chance.
