Both my kids asked me what happened to my deer target. He's laying on the ground unattached to his legs which are still standing. It had to be a buck that hit him. Went done there. Sure enough, there are a few tracks and some marks on his neck. I guess I'm not the only one who does a double take at night.

That is funny. I often wonder about my two out back. I've had a bear chew the ass of one...the other is new and I'm just waiting on something to happen to it...lol
The same thing happend to mine 2 years ago. He got his horns knocked off lol. But Monday when I came home from hunting just up the road, there was a 6 point eating 15 feet from my deer target with no care in the world that he was stiff and not moving. I think he got use to him being there and it doesnt bother him now. Of course I all ready filled my buck tag.

You nkow I would but there just isn't much to see other than the body laying there and the legs still stnding. It's not as if the buck sat there and tore him up. I wish I had it on camera.

That happens every year to my McKenzie in the back yard. If I leave the antlers on , a buck will knock it around. If I take the antlers off they'll mount it.The last two years I've covered the head with a plastic garbage bag.

In the past, my problem has been my neighbor moving my deer to the main enterance and dercorating him for Christmas. Now I haveto worry about the animals doing un-natural acts as well? What is this world coming to?
