Default West Virginians........

I hunt McDowell & Mercer counties and have seen very little, in fact almost no buck sign in the form of rubs and scrapes. I tried making mock scrapes in spots where there were scrapes last year, but they went untouched. I was just curious as to wether other hunters were seeing this and opinions as to whats going on. I have not had a deer in bow range in a couple years and its getting alittle frustrating [:-].

I think WV could use a little AR or "Alt-ification".
Not sure but I think they shoot anything that moves there,
like we used to do here in PA.

For the most part yes. The only thing is that if they did, I feel that poaching would skyrocket. Just the mentality down here.

I haven't been out a whole lot, but haven't seen much buck sign. Last Saturday I seen a little three point making/freshening a rub about 80 yds away.
