How do you use the can? How long do you call for. How long of wait between calls? How many calls in a row? Just how has everyone had sucess with it?

How do you use the can? Hmmm, well you first unbuckle your belt and undo your zipper, pull down your pants and sit. How long do you call for? Hmmm, well it depends on if your wife/girlfriend is in there first and what she may be doing. How long of a wait between calls? Hmm, well depends on how bad you truely have to go....LOL I couldn't resist!

2 bleets back to back and the third one about 15 seconds following the 2nd. Sit back and see what happens.

Good luck!

I only tilt the can half way up and down something about letting it do a full out bleat scares them.
The can worked nicely during peak rut for me last year.
Any excuse to show him heheh:

All depends what they are doing. But mostly short couple Bleats, then I go from there.

I called to a Deer the other day that some Guys jumped,it stops just in the brush, little bit later I called again,it was looking at me,in its mind it was seeing a Deer, kept watching me but settled down,it was walking the wrong way, then turned, thought give me another 5 minutes. The the Guys that jumped it in the first place decided to leave the woods.Spooked it too far in the brush.

I Love the Can best call a Person can use.It is not an alarming call.

Thats the exact way to use it, I go about half way and tip it back. I pause for about 2 seconds in between, and sometimes I will do close to 10 estrus bleats. I follow it with a few grunts. I called 3 bucks in this morning do this exact same method!

I used on four does that walked a trail behind some trees near me two weeks ago, they didn't bat an eye. Didn't run, but didn't acknowledge it either. Last week I used it on a doe I saw walking about 80yds away, she stopped dead and started looking for another deer. When she didn't see anything she just walked away. Didn't bring anything in, but it didn't appear to scare anything either.

Then again, I pretty much don't have a clue what I'm doing anyway so everything is a learning experience.

WHAT?

FRALEY, ?

The Can is nothing more than a contact call, this should never scare a deer.

I imitate the Can with my Deer Flute, I contact call, it's a elongated bleat that rises and falls in pitch...I've never seen a deer become alert because of it and have had deer run in on a string or simply look, wag and go back to eating.

I got 15 of them sitting on a branch I start turning them over one after another as quick as possible. I figure if a buck can resist all that tale he's gay and I don't want to shoot limped hoofed buck.
