Who knows?? Just get outeverychance you get. It should be heating up any time now. With the cold nights we have had the last few days it shouldbe about that time.

I had two 1.5 year old bucks dogging the does under my stand this evening and two nice shooters(120-130's) hanging back on the other side of the creek. The best part of the chase phase is going to be within the next few days.(especially because I got hornswaggled into staying home with the kids this weekend)

I predict tomorrow, I think it is the "new moon". I did not see any chasing eitheron Sun-Tues. I seen little bucks eating with does, does following little bucks, almost like they were confused. I hear stories, I know in some woods they are chasing, just not mine. I seen about 25 deer total in those 3 days, but no real hot and heavy rut activity. In years past I have seen major chasing happening in this same spot, just not yet.
