Default SC Buck Down! (mine this time)

I was back in the same spot I was in last night when he came by at 40 to 45 yards in the woods. Tonight was another story. I was in my tree and settled at 3:30 just relaxing and hoping to see some deer. When about 4:15 or so I see him coming through the brush. So I quickly stand and go ahead and draw before he gets to my lane. Well wouldn't you know he was facing me. I have to let down, wait about 5 minutes then draw again. Still facing me and would not move. I had to let down again. This happened 2 more times before had a chance to release my arrow. He was quartering to me a good bit but my arrow did its job. He went about 70 or 80 yards before expiring. I just can't type how excited I am about this. I was even lucky enough that he ran out of the bottom I was in, up the hill and just 20 yards from the road, all level ground from there. Here are the pictures.

TEAM 40 has another on the board.

Thanks Everyone.

Man, I was going to stop by after hunting this evening and with all the excitement I completely forgot about it. There is always Saturdays drawing though.

Good looking buck.

There have been some GREAT bucks killed in SC this year. Now if we could just get more hunters to let our bucks grow.
