Default Solid or Split?

Do you guys prefer split limbs or solid limbs? Or do you have a preference? Cause I was wondering if one is better than the other.

I have read that solid limbs last a little longer but have no evidence to support it. I shoot a split limb and have no complaints.

another Hoyt splitter

According to Hoyt, their split limbs are actually supposed to last longer they way they make them. Uniform geometry, no stress concentrators.

Maybe that's why Bowtech is going to split limbs

I've had good luck with both so it really doesn't matter

Haven't shot split limbs, but haven't heard anything bad about them, either.

Much more important than solid/split is laminated or solid limbs. Honestly I couldn't care less about solid/split......with good limb building processes and materials you can have a quality limb either way.
