I have been seeing chasin' behavior for the last two-three weeks. It really picked up this past Saturday and I blew an opportunity at a huge 12-pointer. Twenty-six deer were counted Saturday evening with 7 bucks included.
No shots.
Yesterday was a bust. One "shadow" passed above me in the thick stuff early on and we only had two doe cross the creek in the evening. The weather sure threw things off a bit. Hopefully tomorrow evening or Saturday will prove more rewarding..otherwise the early season is over for me.
