Default Got it done in Nebraska,PICS,PICS

Well I had been seeing a buck come out of a group of trees and walk to the swamp on the golf course a few minutes before dark every night. I decide to hang a stand up on thursday at 2:00 p.m., I got done took a shower and went back out at 4:45 at didnt see much till 6:00. I had a young doe come right under me, at 6:45 i grabbed the grunt call and let out a few short pops, as soon as a set the grunt call down I could hear a grunt coming my way. In no time at all the buck was right under me at 5 yards, I let him walk out and when he hit my 25 yard shooting lane, I let it fly, The shot was decent and I gave him a few hours, we found him 50 yards from where i shot him. Not a bad deer for your first one with a bow.

I have permission to hunt in every direction from where I live, the tree stand is not more than a half a mile from town. and there isn't any public ground around here, its all private/ farmers/ranchers,
