Default Wife won't eat deer

My wife won't eat deer. When she was young a family member served some deer that made her really sick and to this day she will not eat it. Her parents tried fixing it in difrent ways and in everything, but she will not touch it.

Any one have any ideas on how to get her to try it, and a way to cook it so it doesn't taste so "wild"?

I love the taste of deer anyway it is cooked.

My wife loves deer meat. We only eat beef on the rare occasion the deer has run out. She likes it better than any other meat.

Carie gets mad if I want to give any away. She loves it and when she is on Weight Watchers a meal sized piece only counts as 1 point.

Had a Girl living with us.We cooked Beef and Deer steak one night. She ate a Beef steak first, said there was another Steak and asked if she could have it? Sure.Well she had a Deer Steak and was chowing down, had about half of it ate.I asked her how it was? Oh its the best I ever had,it is so tender and full of flavor.I told her it was Deer, she wouldn't eat the rest.

So many with so much it is all in their mind.

Just tell her that it is beef. That's what we did to my sister-in-law until for the first couple of years that she was dating my brother.

My wife won't eat steaks or roast made from beef, nor hamburgers but she will eat the bologna I have made so, I have made so she can share, as well as others who love what I have done. I share the bounty. If I want a steak, she makes sure there are Tbones and Porterhouses in the cooler for me.

Many on here have eatin the bologna my local butcher makes for me, they can swear by it.
