Default Should I Go

Only 3 days left in first half of bow season, before gun season. Thinking I want to go in the morning, but I would have to leave around 8:30 only giving me 2 hours of shooting time.

What would you do?

btw Tomarrow is my birthday, would be nice to get my first deer by bow on my b-day.

How come I knew the awnser to this. Funny how we second guess our selfs.
I guess a deer can walk out in the first two hours of hunting just as easy as in the last hours.

Wish me luck.

The first two hours are usually the most productive where I hunt..... besides the last two hours. They just seem to move more in the evenings for me. But the ones in the morning have all been within the first two hours.

I'll take 2 hours of shooting time over 14 hours of a good day at work anytime!

Just to throw this out there due to previous people getting ripped a new one that had some prior engagments, you say you have to leave at 8:30, if you shoot one, especially a marginal hit what then, do you have or can you make the time to tend to it? Not trying to be whatever, just something to think about. Personally I would go, 2 hours is plenty of time toconnect. Good Luck.

I just have to be at work, but with my boss being a hunter, and a hell of a nice guy, if I did get one down, I would be able to tend to it. But that is a good question.
