Saw this little bugger with about 4 Does and 6 other fawns. I took a little video of him also.
Had this little 8pt come in to my grunts after I saw him cruising the path in front of me. I grunted, he would look around, I grunted again, he'd look all around, this game continued for about 15 minutes before herubbed a tree, made a scrape, trotted around me then got bored I guess, was good fun, he never figured me out but he was really frustrated lol. Was a great morning.
No wrong answer.....but is there a reason you didn't take the piebald?
I shot a Doe opening morning, and I shot another Doe Saturday morning before looking for my 10pt, so Im all good on meat for now. I can bowhunt up until January so if I need more meat, I would consider the piebald then. I dont normally take fawns and this knock knee'd lil bugger was too cool to shoot this morning, plus I had other bucks following this group with the piebaldas my goal now is to take 130+ buck. I know, I know,Im a pansie.
