Default Shot an eight point, what to do.

Ishot an eight point at 6:10, made a good shot. The shot went in in the middle of his lung an come out low on the other side. He took off running as hard as he could an ran out of sight. The shot was a slight quartering away shot, found agood blood trail about 30 yards from where I shot him. I heard him or what I thought was him making loud vocal sounds about 2 minutes after I shot.

Give him 2 to 3 hours and go track him. Iwait that long before i go and track my animals even if i know i made a good hit, better to be on the safe side! Gut shots i'll usually wait till morning and then go.

Buck was recovered, ran about a hundred yards, laying on the pond levee.
