Default Worth going out?

With high winds predicted in my area tommorow i am questioning on whether it would be worth going to sit in the stand.....the rut is just about to pick up here and i have been seeing some deer activity, but i have never had sucess in the wind and just wanted to see your alls take on it?

In my opinion, anytime I am able to get out, it is worth it to me.

Depends on the wind speed. The forecast for my area is 40-50 mph with higher gusts[:-].Guess who won`t be swaying back and forth in a treestand tommorow.I would rather wait for the winds to subsideand better conditions rather than just going because the season is open- weather be dammned.Hunting smart often pays big dividends

Im going, I live in Va I know we will have some wind, but the deer don't stop what they are doing like we do, they don't have a choice. Especially with the rut activity now in Va/Nc, besides, what else are you gonna do, sit at home and think about wether or not you should have gone? Also, ask yourself, is it going to be fun even if Idon't kill or see one?If you say no, stay home, if you say yes, go. It 's all in what you get out of being in the woods. I think you should go.

I killed this deer on Oct. 20th. Wind was blowing 30 - 35 MPH with gusts over 40mph. Temperature was 82 degrees when I got in my stand at 5:00 PM. And to think.... I almost didn't go due to the inclimate weather. You would be dumb not to go. Especially now that the rut is kickin' in. People get out there and hunt when you have the opportunity. You just never know. Bottom line, the choice is yours. I'm happy with the choice I made.

I called in 4 bucks this morning while hunting. It was not hurricane winds but it was gusty at times.
