Well guys, we're pretty well into the season so I wanted to do a quick update on everyone's goals for this year pertaining to their charity donations. So, let's hear it!
I was fortunate enough to fulfill my goal of harvesting a mature buck on film, which means I'll be cutting a check to the charity of my choice before the end of the season. I have also committed to donating money based upon the largest buck entered into the contest as well, so I will wait until it's all over to send my money in one lump sum.
So far I'm in for $25 plus $140 ($1 for every inch of antler of the buck I shoot) fora total of $165. A small price to pay when it's going to a good cause, that's for sure.

We don't all have to agree on it, but if a good majority of us do we should still be able to send a good amount of money in.
My original vote was for the Benefit 4 Kids (www.b4k.org) which is much like the Catch A Dream foundation that helps children who are sick or terminally ill go on their dream hunts. HNI's own Christine Appleberg is the Illinois Director for the charity, so I'm sure she can help organize where and how to send our donations in.
Although I am certainly open to other suggestions as well.

B4K works for me.

If farmcntry endorses it....I'm "in". I'll also give mine to Farmcntry's organization if he'll just say the word. I've got 6 does I owe $10 a piece for, so far.....and I saw the buck I'm after, this morning. I'll go ahead and say it right here.....
If I get that buck....I'll write (____________) a check for $200.00.
