Default Scrapes

i have found 6 scrapes grouped closely together along a fence line the borders a picked cornfield and a standing soybean field. i am wanting to know how i should hunt these, when i should hunt them, and if these are any sign of a mature buck. the scrapes are within 50 feet of each other and they are cleared very well i am planning on hunting them with my bow...........any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default RE: Scrapes

Forrest I am from Crothersville. To answer your question check to see which direction the dirt has been thrown from the scrape. That should give youu the direction the buck is traveling. Also if there is a low place in the fence you should see activity of where deer are crossing. I would set up in that general area especially with the way the deer are moving right now. One hot doe and your in business.
