Default The wondering is over.

A few weeks ago, I posted about Rob/PA Bowyer coming to the aid, at a moments notice no less, of a friend of mine and myself after my friend hit a nine point and we lost the blood trail. We found it again (the blood trail that night) with Rob's help. At the end of the night, wehad come to an impass in a pasture and were getting molested by cattle trying to pick the blood trail up again. We concluded that the shot had to have been too far forward and the buckwould likely survive. Just the same my buddy looked for the better part of a week everywhere hecould think of. Tonight we have an answer. After dark the buck wasspotted (scar and all) playing Romeo with a five point and a few does. He was not limpingor hobbling. Hopefully my friend will get a second chance at this buck. Just thought I would give an example of a bad shot that didn't end with coyotes or bad meat.
