It was about 6:00 when the first one came into the field he was a shooter a 9 point very tall but not really wide. He came in at 62yds with the wind blowing from me to him but he never spooked just very cautious. He slowly made his way toward me when at 45yds he started looking to my left now mind you I was on the ground just a little brush around and a fallen tree. I thought it may be another deer so I looked left and sure enough there was a 8pt at 35yds but much smaller then the other he came to within 30yds but I passed on him broadside waiting for the 9pt. Then the smaller one went down the hill to the big one and started sniffing him and curled his lip then they started sparing and the bigger one was pushing the smaller one down the hill away from me. Anyway they kept it up for about 30 minutes and never got closer then 45 yds again and there was a wind of abou 25mph so no shot. Then both went back into the woods. By now it was to dark to see good so I started to get my backpack and leave and looked in the field and there was a 3pt about 50 yds away. It ended up being a great evening for me to watch them playing around and I didnt scare them so I think I may try to hang a stand tomorrow. Sorry this was so long just wanted to share.

THE OTHER HAVE BEEN WASTED
Yes it did make for a memorable day in the field I would have loved to have gotten a shot off but we all know it doesmt happen everytime or there would be no deer left to hunt. I will be back on stand today just hoping for them to come back.
