Default New deer disease in SW PA

It's called BHD.

Broadhead Hemmorrhagic Disease. It affects the lung and liver area, and deer only survive 1 minute after the attack, which is this case, the disease was prompted fromthe bite of a Fuse 3 blade fired from a Hoyt Vectrix at 20 yards.

I'm happier than hel with him, after all the talk of deer dying in my area, I stumbled across a hot spot that doesn't appear to of been hitby that awful midge bug.

He measures 17" inside, and he's without a doubt the heaviest deer I've taken. The one in my avatar weighed 155, this boy has got at least 30lbs on him with a swollen neck and huge hip muscles.
