Its starting

Man, the bucks are everywhere right now in NJ. I hunted last night and saw 7 different bucks chasing a doe. No shooters though. I also have seen a number of bucks out in fields at all times of the day the last 2-3 days. Hopefully ill get to see the one im after this afternoon. Should be a perfect evening in the woods.

Spent two and a half hours in the blind last night. Didn't see a thing. Then,twenty minutes after I back out,Isee a big rack sniffing at the doe estrus next to my blind. Glad I still have over two weeks of season to go!

It starts about he same time every year.

The 3.5are on there feet, I suspect to see the really big boys next week. If you have a hot doe in your area, it's like pure gold right now. If you can be in the woods, get in there. My vacation starts on Friday!!!!!

I'm blowing out of work in a half hour to sit in a tree... My time in the woods has been limited, but this is a good time to make time!

You are right, I took a nice 170lb heavy tined 8 last night in Zone 48.
Where are you in NJ?
