Default PA BUCK DOWN!!!

Shot him last night at 6:30. I don't know what was going on last night but the deer were going nuts. I had 3 bucks around my stand all within 20 yards at the same time. A nice 6 point with no brow tines, and smaller 8 point were with him. They came in one by one following 2 does. He is not my biggest but I love him just the same. Shame his main beam is broken off at the end or he would have had a really neat looking rack. I shot him at about 17 yards broadside with a rage 2 blade. I have his head outside I am trying to decided whether to attempt a euro mount myself or just cut off the skull plate and mount the antlers. any advise from someone whose tried a euro mount before would be helpful. thanks to everyone here, I read almost every post that time allows for and you have taught me well. This is my second season bowhunting and my second 8 point.

I need someone to post the pics email me at adidazman15@yahoo.com and I will email you the pictures.

you are in good area, i bet not WMU2G.
i have been out and archery hunting is very challenging now.
i did see my first buck, i only hunt bucks .

it was spike.
deer that are left here in wmu2g are tough to hunt, they are hunted hard and learned every trick to stay alive.
i had doe bust my set-up today, wind ,you cant predict it.
so, you cant hunt your stand every day,so i set -up 2 stands at different locations.

this muzzleloader season is really causing the deer to be spooky.
deer i saw ,i could not keep them from moving around,so no shot with bow.

i hunted hard 4 days a week for buck, last week, they had kids and adults gun season here in pa.
more bucks were killed that week with bow than anytime this season, many by kids 12 years old, huge bucks.

funny, i have been at it with bow for 43 years and i have not got close to huge buck in years..
guess i will have to get kids to show sproul how to get buck.hmmmmmmmmmmm

For a cheap euro mount bury the head in the ground with only the antlers sticking up, put a 5 gallon bucket of the anters with a couple of bricks on top to keep yotes and dogs out of it. Leave it for at least 3 months. After that put a little bleach on the skull and you should be good to go. Congrats budy cant wait to see some pics.
