Default Shooting w/Sling

It was brought to my attention that I maybe torqing the bow and that's why I have been shooting to the left, what will a sling do for this. I dont and have never shot with one, will it help??

I shoot with one. It allows you to open your grip a little without worrying about dropping the bow. When you open up your grip you can craddle the bow in the croock between your thumb and index finger that way the bow just sits there and doesn't get torqued.
