Default Any one seeing any mountain lions in the midwest??

my dad a couple years ago was muzzleloader hunting in illinois, right across the river from STL, and he saw mountain lion, a huge one, the funny thing is he ended up killing a 130" 9 pointer a little later in the morning :P

I have seen one in IL. in the several years of bowhunting. They are not common by any standards, but they do exist

There must be hundreds or thousands of them in Kentucky. Every time the subject comes up on the Ky hunting forums everyone and their daddy has seen one as well as several black panthers. I'm afraid to walk to my deer stand in the dark anymore.
