DropTine, I'm no Pro, but I swear the Moon has got alot to do with deer in the fields, I grew up spot lighting on are hunting land.( legal in state of Va.as long as you have written permision.) And when it was around the full moon, you could not find a deer NO WHERE, and I'm talking in Fields that you just seen 20 to 30 deer in 2 weeks ago. Also deer will go across 10 corn fields to get to some white oak acorns, They love them big green ones. Give it some time they will be chasen harder next week with this cooler weather. GOOD LUCK.
