three for me. 2 does on opening gun season, & 1 "anterless" buck in late gun season.

I killed 6 which is my average for most years. I put 4 in the freezer and give the others to people who have asked in advance for them. I won't shoot a deer if I don't have a place for it to go.

I let all does walk last year. And ended up not shooting a buck so I got none. I had alot of Elk in the freezer so thats why I didn't take atleast 1 doe.

I got one yearling-doe. It was the best venison I've evr had too! But I missed a 140+ 8-pointer due to equipment-failure because of user error.

I'm hoping to do better this year. I've already filled one and there's still over 2 1/2 months left in the season.

i bowhunt in illinois on public land. as if things aren't tough enough, last year they started earn-a-buck. so, i shot a doe thesecond day of the season and waited the rest of the year for a big buck that never showed up.i grew up in wisconsin and go back up there every year for the gun hunt with my old man.that happened to be eab as well, so i got lucky enough to get a doe right away saturday morning onlyto sit the remainder of the week and see next to nothing.i think the bucks were locked down with the ladies, but that's neither here nor there, the nice thing is that eab sticker carries over to this season in wisconsin. so to make a long story short, i got two. two sexy doe.
